Siesta Key is an island, accessible by 2 bridges. It is about 8 miles long and each bridge connects to the mainland of Sarasota. The north bridge connects closest to downtown Sarasota and the south bridge aka “Stickney Point Bridge” connects to more southern Sarasota. Both bridges allow easy access to I-75 which is the main interstate running up and down the west cost of Florida.


The nearest international airport is located just 20 minutes drive away in Sarasota. Airport code: SRQ.

The next nearest is just 1 hour 10 minutes away in Tampa. Airport Code: TPA.

Beyond that is Orlando, (2 hours) and Miami (3 hours).


You may also visit us by boat. We have a boat dock, approx 30 feet long that is big enough to dock a boat up to 25ft in length at. There are public boat ramps close by too. Turtle Beach, on Siesta Key, as well as 10th St Boat ramp in downtown Sarasota.


Once you’ve arrived you won’t need a car. You can walk, rent bikes, rent golf carts, or hop on the free Siesta Key Breeze Trolley that has many stops all over the island. There are also several free ride services that run around the island, and you can just tip your driver!
